In 2010, Prof. Stölzle of UniSG, supported by a group of interested sponsors, conducted a study on "airfreight as a competitive factor for Switzerland as a business location". It was the first study of its kind and generated a lot of goodwill and transparency for this important means of transport, especially for the Swiss export industry. Ten years later IG Air Cargo and the Institute of Supply Chain Management of University St. Gallen have engaged again to produce a new comprehensive study of the airfreight logistics sector in Switzerland. Presented at the National Air Cargo Day on August 26, 2020 at the Verkehrshaus in Lucerne, the new 2020 Swiss Airfreight Logistics Study is ready.
